The Broadcasting Rights Packages are entities associated with the contract than can be used to define specific broadcasting rights (such as number of available showings for specific productions, channels, period of times, etc.). The Broadcasting Rights Packages will be used to create the service orders or scheduling.
When editing a Broadcasting Package Rights record, you will be able to modify the metadata fields of the form, as well as view or manage related elements to your contract (Service Orders).
To cancel the edit, click "Cancel". To save the changes and keep in the edit form, click "Save". To save the changes and go back to the previous list, click "Save & Go Back".
Details section
Modify the fields of the form. You must introduce at least the mandatory fields.
Name. Give a name to the Rights Package
Acquisition Contract. Inherit from the related Acquisition Contract
Channels (#). Inherit from the related Acquisition Contract. You cannot add more channels than the available in the related contract.
Productions. Click to insert or remove productions from the Catalog.
Allowed Time Windows. Optionally select the Time Windows to restrict the rights to specific intervals of time. For more information, go to Time Windows
Remember you can manage the metadata fields of each entity from the Administration menu. For more information, go to Metadata
In this section, you can set the number of showings and repetitions of the current Rights Package
Number of showings. Available number of showing for the productions in this specific broadcast rights package. Check "Unlimited Showings" if there are no restrictions.
Number of repetitions. Available number of repetitions for the productions in this specific broadcast rights package. Check "Unlimited Repetitions" if there are no restrictions.
The repetitions are showings associated to the main showing. For example, one typical case is to schedule the premiere showing of a serie every Monday and link repetition showings at the weekend.
Click on to create a new Service Order , related to the current Broadcasting Right Package.
(Note that Acquisition Contract, Broadcasting Rights Package, Dates and Channels will be inherit from the related Broadcasting Rights Package)
Name. Give a name to the Service Order
Contract. Inherit from the Acquisition Contract associated with the related Broadcasting Rights Package
Broadcasting Rights Package. Inherit from the related Broadcasting Rights Package.
Start Date. Inherit from the related Broadcasting Rights Package. You cannot set a start date lower than the one specified in the related Broadcasting Rights Package
End Date. Inherit from the related Broadcasting Rights Package. You cannot set an end date higher than the one specified in the related Broadcasting Rights Package
Channel. Inherit from the related Broadcasting Rights Package. You cannot select a channel that is not included in the related Broadcasting Rights Package.
Grid. Select a grid or template of a Main Subchannel that will be used as pattern for the scheduling.
Sequential Scheduling. Check this box if you want to schedule a whole serie of episodes in a sequential way. Uncheck if you will schedule specific productions. The productions are already set in the related Broadcasting Rights Package.
Time Windows. Inherit from the related Broadcasting Rights Package. You cannot add more Time Windows than the available in the related Broadcasting Rights Package. The Time Windows are used to restrict the rights to specific intervals of time. For more information, go to Time Windows
Total Showings. Non-editing field. Automatically updated on every new showing scheduled in the Service Order.
